The Easel Chair draws its inspiration from the adjustable and interchangeable features of easels allowing the user to switch and adjust the “canvases” (seat cushions) at their discretion. This chair derives a powerful statement by enshrining anyone who sits on it as “a work of art.”
This project explores how different typologies of objects can be blended to create new interpretations of the relationship between form and function.
