It's about understanding a lamp, a light switch, and a power outlet as a whole interactive system: as a family. TOCAM enhances the tactile experience with these elements by reducing the visual noise they usually create; they are all hidden behind a black fabric that covers them but still allows a fluid interaction.
>> OPEN ME Power outlet > Is hidden behind a black fabric that covers its holes. It makes it aesthetically cleaner and child-safe.
>> TOUCH ME Switch > The finger feels the texture and placement of the switch to turn it on/off. Our fingers are our blind eyes.
>> SQUEEZE ME Lamp > It is powered by squeezing it, on any part of its body, like a toy. An interaction with light where you can feel it.
